TENANT:  Six years ago, Active Minerals had offices in Macon and Milledgeville. Marty Holmes, their Regional Director, was looking to downsize their Macon office when he reached out to SPP Commercial to see what options were in the area. As a worldwide leader in the production and marketing of kaolin and clay minerals, Active Minerals needed a central location between their 4 Georgia manufacturing facilities and a convenient location for their employees.

SPP SOLUTION:  Marty met with Susan at SPP Commercial Group and was impressed with her straightforward communication and understanding of his office needs. Conveniently located off I-75 and within driving distance of their manufacturing plants, Marty knew this would be a good location for his team and clients. He liked the fact that they had a property manager onsite and that janitorial services were included as part of the leasing contract. He presented a design for his office and SPP was very flexible to his construction requests. Instead of downsizing, Active Minerals chose to close their Milledgeville office and move their entire team to their new 3,000 sq. ft. location in Macon. They enjoy the professional environment and have done business with the GA Department of Revenue and attorneys that are in the same building.
