Kent Physical Therapy • Lakeside Commons • Macon
“The best thing about SPP Commercial is they have lots of property options and sizes for you to choose from. They are forward thinkers in planning their developments close to high traffic, affluent areas that are good for business owners in the area. They oversaw our new space construction details while I ran my other office. What I thought would be a 6-month process was done in 2 months and I never missed a day of work. They make running my business easy.”
Jason Kent, Owner of Kent Physical Therapy
TENANT: Jason Kent started working in the medical industry in Macon in 2001. He had a thriving physical therapy business but was sharing space with another doctor and they were bursting at the seams. When he saw a new development under construction on Bass Road in 2005, he began to dream of having his own clinic and moving his business in that direction.
SPP SOLUTION: In May of 2019 Jason decided that he would have to move out of his current space to expand his business. He wanted to be in affluent North Macon and contacted SPP Commercial Group who had several developments in that area. SPP Commercial understood his need for a ground floor space with easy access for patients that had mobility issues. They showed him several options to consider and he decided on a space in prestigious Lakeside Commons. It was strategically located at I-75 and Bass Road which was convenient for his current customers and the heavily traveled Publix shopping center and nearby medical offices would provide opportunities for new patients.
PLAN FOR SUCCESS: In June of 2019 Jason moved from a cramped 1,600 sq. ft. space to a well-appointed 2,500 sq. ft. clinic at Lakeside Commons. His office is on the ground floor which is easily accessible for his growing clientele from across the Middle Georgia region. SPP Commercial oversaw the construction details of his new space from knocking out walls to building the gym area. What he thought would take 6 months to accomplish was completed in 2 months. He closed his old office on a Friday, moved over that weekend, and was seeing patients at his Lakeside Commons location that following Monday. He loves his new location and signed a 10-year lease so he can continue to grow his business and serve his patients well.
